Introducing [nation=long]Common-Sense Politics[/nation] (CSP) as a faithful yet dynamic servant of
Europeia and her interests,
Setting the stage for CSP’s entry into the spotlight as a fiery newcomer in the Europeian Senate, where they eventually emerged as one of the most prolific legislators the Republic has ever seen and produced multiple highlights such as:
- authoring landmark legislation like the Embassy Act (2012) and the Protected Areas Act (2013), codifying the process to create and maintain biregional embassies and ensuring the proper regulation of classified information respectively,
- playing a key role in the creation and subsequent revisions of the immediately previous and the current iteration of the constitution, and,
- utilizing daring speeches, witty one-liners and aggressive debating techniques to bedazzle observers, swoon admirers and sway skeptics,
Observing CSP's rapid ascent to the Presidency of Europeia, which occurred after an executive crisis that left the region in a state of limbo whereupon CSP’s true talent as a masterful leader came to light, as they stepped up to guide the region back to stability and restore the trust of the citizenry in the position,
Noting that this was only the beginning of CSP’s intermittent tenures in the position, as they would go on to serve four more terms in the Presidency and cement their legacy as one of the greatest Presidents in regional history by:
- overseeing a boom in regional population which placed Europeia as one of the largest regions in the world, a position it holds even to this day,
- leading multiple resurgences of the executive branch under their watch, achieved mainly through the promotion of newer members to the Cabinet,
- hosting regular Q&A sessions with citizens, allowing for greater transparency regarding the Cabinet’s actions,
- directing the organization of various unique festivals like Winterfest, the Zombie Jamboree and the 15th Founding Day festivities, each event designed to develop esprit de corps among the citizenry and members of the interregional community, and
- leading Europeia’s response to Milograd’s coup of The South Pacific (TSP) in 2013, which was crucial in securing the restoration of the Coalition,
Extolling CSP’s strength in the face of invader antagonism in 2022; it was CSP who drew the line in the sand, declared their leaders persona non grata and put aside Europeia’s differences with its former defender rivals, authorising the Europeian Republican Navy’s (ERN) first organized defender operations and charting the course for Europeia’s journey to defender alignment,
Appreciating the versatile role CSP assumed in the Europeian government as Vice President, enacting Presidents HEM and Skizzy Grey’s directives behind the scenes with stark efficacy and ensuring that their Presidencies came to be known as highly successful in retrospect,
Hailing CSP as one of the Republic’s greatest diplomats, evident by their phenomenal efforts to build Europeia’s international presence and influence as Minister of Foreign Affairs, a position where they served a record cumulative total of 367 days,
Outlining a selection of CSP’s innumerable diplomatic and bureaucratic achievements in the aforementioned position, such as streamlining the ambassadorial apparatus in order to extract maximum efficiency from the best minds Europeia had to offer, creating a myriad of instructional materials and diligently archiving past foreign proclamations to train the next generation of envoys, and signing the Treaty of Friendship with Lazarus in 2012, which ratified an enduring relationship with the Emerald Kingdom regime,
Coronating CSP as the
Imperator of the ERN owing to a legendary military career, transforming it from a laughingstock to a perennial Independent powerhouse by:
- creating the original set of directives that govern the ERN’s conduct during all operations, ensuring that the region’s best interests is represented in a professional and ethical manner,
- kickstarting the Reserve Squads, providing somnolent members of the Navy opportunities to get involved with operations and prove their mettle,
- pioneering training initiatives like ERN Fleet Week, keeping the Navy’s ranks replete with new versatile talents,
- instituting ceremonial titles to appropriately reward Sailors for their exceptional service and dedication,
- fighting against attempts to subvert legitimate regimes, including coups of TSP in 2011 and Osiris in 2012, and,
- stomping out bastions of hate and bigotry like Central Rhodesia as well as assisting in other operations of similar nature like the liberation of Anne Frank and the destruction of The Iron Confederacy,
Proclaiming that CSP’s peerless zeal in ensuring the continued prosperity of Europeia and her allies deserves recognition from this hallowed assembly,
