@Cosmic Why do you want to be an election commissioner? Why should we trust you with the role? Have you ever served in the EC before? How early into your term do you plan on CTEing?
I want to be an election commissioner because I want to serve the region, but also I want to continue taking on a more broad range of responsibilities. Most of my first 8 months in the region were me serve exclusively in the NPA and since the end of my time as MoD I have made an effort to branch out, both through becoming a DMoFA and serving as Deputy Speaker and eventually Speaker. I know that I have the time to supervise elections and the experience to do it well, so I decided that I wanted to join. Other than that, I want to take part in the administrative portion of our electoral process, as the democracy is something that drew me to TNP when I was a new player in the first place, and it just seems like a fun job.
You should trust me because, as Chipoli has noted, I've served in many areas of our government now and have been an active a committed member of this community for more than a year now. In the Speaker's Office and NPA, I am very active and have remained so, but I also think that my actions throughout my time here have shown how I am not a partisan individual and respect the responsibilities given to me greatly. I have run the Speaker's office very efficiently, with votes and motions being processed on time and have brought in multiple new Deputies to train during my tenure. I always do what I think is best for the region and I have been committed to its betterment throughout my time here.
I have never served on the EC, but the Speaker's office is similar in its bureaucracy and I have extensive experience counting votes. I also possess the necessary skills and attention to detail, as proven by my time as Speaker and Deputy Speaker.
As early as possible. Well I have never lost citizenship or CTEd since my nation was created, so fingers cross it doesn't happen
