Valued members of the Pan-Gotic Union,

After careful consideration and survey, the I. Hrøríksson Cabinet has officially came to the agreement for submitting a formal application for full membership. Ostmark, a Gotic nation with tradition deeply rooted in its society and everyday life, asks the current members of the Union to consider this application in diplomatic manner, with pragmatism. The incumbent government of Ostmark believes such membership can, and will, be mutually beneficial given its commitment to international cooperation and its cultural ties to major members such as Prydania, Andrenne and Goyanes.

As head mod I am exercising mod authority to vote on behalf of two NPCs, Imperial Collandris and Frisia. I have voted AYE for Imperial Collandris on the basis of its similar cultural and political institutions. I have voted NAY for Frisia on the basis of its closeness to Goyanes and opposition to Waltalriche's actions post-Gotmark War.

Prince Harris Oyvindsson, blinking through what appears to be a mix of smeared mascara and a three day bender, briefly looks up from where his head had been on the small desk provided in the corner of the Gotmarker delegation's area for exactly this scenario. Hand shaking slightly, he writes Gotmark's vote in barely legible writing.
